Chris Rea - Set Me Free

Set Me Free from 1991 Album “Auberge“. Auberge (a French word meaning “inn“) is an album by Chris Rea, released in 1991. The album as well as the title song was mostly notable for the association of the Caterham Super Seven that he owned, in which he called it the “Blue Seven“. That car appeared on the album cover, illustrated in oil by renowned motoring artist Alan Fearnley. The album makes several reference to the car over several tracks, as well on the video of the title song and its cover illustration was used for its adverts. The car will be sold with all proceeds going to the children’s charity NSPCC, a great cause and worthy of everyone’s support. The sale conducted by specialist international auctioneers, Coys, at an auction in London on September 29th, 2005. Auberge was a #1 album in the UK in 1991. Lyrics: Wake up see the morning light This is you This is today You try so hard to get it right Can’t help thinking somewhere you lost your way When was the last time You saw a smile ? There’s a scream on every silent face you see They’re singing set me free I got a friend Who burns like a fire Says there’s only one thing you’ll ever know It’s out there somewhere Way out on the open road And me I’m always looking down Down that road out of town Each morning and night You can see me I’m singing set me free Set me free Goodnight Auberge I leave you now You must sleep While I work the day Till I return To dream of you Through the night And that free, freeway...
