Anna Shcherbakova takes the lead winning gold | 2022 Winter Olympics

Kamila Valieva fell several times in her free skate to miss out on a medal at the Winter Olympics, as fellow Russian Anna Shcherbakova won gold ahead of Alexandra Trusova and Japan’s Sakamoto. Valieva, who led after the short program, came fourth after a week and a half of turmoil for the teenager, who is awaiting a CAS verdict to see if she retains her team gold following a positive doping test.
