A woman in Canada cloned her beloved dead cat… twice
After two years and four failed attempts, contractors for Canadian woman Kris Stewart have managed to successfully clone her ragdoll cat Bear, who died in a traffic accident.
“I just felt like there was more living that needed to be done by Bear,“ said Stewart, who received not one, but two clones of her original pet.
The procedure was performed by Texas-based pet cloning company ViaGen for around $50,000. Curiously, the same firm had been involved in cloning a perished dog of another big pet enthusiast, Argentinian President Javier Milei.
