Fury reacted to the news, stating on social media that he is “coming home“, suggesting that the fight against Whyte will be the first time he will box on U.K. soil since his August 2018 win against Francesco Pianeta. On 25 February 2022, it was officially announced that the fight would be taking place at Wembley Stadium in London, England on 23 April.
