Remembering Seattle Opera’s Ring 2 (1985-1995)

16 Weeks Till Our 50th! Help us celebrate great moments in Seattle Opera history as we approach our golden anniversary. This week we remember Seattle Opera’s beloved Ring 2, the intriguing and imaginative production of Wagner’s tetralogy directed by François Rochaix and designed by Robert Israel. Valkyries on flying carousel horses, a dragon born of an unholy union between a locomotive and an excavator, and plenty of theatrical magic and incredible singing won this production fans from all around the world.
