OK? However, what we have as well is a heel plate that also pivots in the opposite direction to the main pedal. When you push this down with your heel, the movement is translated through a metal beam which lies underneath and to the side of the front foot plate, to a push/pull rod that is connected to a second cam that pushes another beater (the left one as you sit behind it) towards the bass drum head.“
