Harrogate College, Yorkshire. “Trained to the last point - models of movement - “ High angle shot of schoolgirls walking out on to a sports field. Various shots of the girls as they perform a synchronised routine which make patterns as they cross over each other as they walk. The girls stand in very straight lines. Shot of other schoolgirl observers. The girls perform a synchronised exercise routine lifting their arms in the air and to the sides. The girls then do lots of other exercises. They all wear black gymslips and white shirts. M/S of woman standing on the roof of part of the school shouting instructions through a megaphone! Other pupils watch from the windows. Girls make circles and perform more exercises. High angle shot of large group of spectators (mostly parents presumably) - most sit on chairs, others stand.
