Already yesterday afternoon everything indicated that the catastrophe was inevitable: a part of the wall collapsed, and all the people inside were evacuated. The cracks in the building appeared many years ago, so the risk that the building would soon collapse was always there. Recently, however, the house has been undergoing renovation work, and this could have triggered its collapse. The emergency services claim that the building is uninhabited and has long been resettled. But the locals do not agree and say that there were still people in one apartment.
