Massive fire destroys several buildings at West End Firewood in Northbridge, Ma

Firefighters continued Tuesday to battle a fire at a firewood company on Purgatory Road that started Monday night. The state Fire Mobilization Task Force was called to assist firefighters who had been on the scene all night fighting fires in four buildings and multiple stacks of cordwood at West End Firewood, 496 Purgatory Road, according to Jennifer Mieth, a spokesman for the state fire marshal’s office.
