Dutch Farmers Defy Media Silence and Stage Massive Protests Against Environmental Regulations

Thousands of Dutch farmers drove their tractors to The Hague to protest against the government’s plans to limit nitrogen emissions, a policy they say will threaten their livelihoods and food production.
