Having completed his tenure as Eton College Composer in Residence, he is now studying towards a PhD back in York. Fred’s music has received several accolades - including 1st prize in the Royal Northern Sinfonia’s ’Mozarts of Tomorrow’ Competition and the National Center for Early Music Young Composers Award - and has been performed all over England, as well as abroad in the USA and Russia.
