The La Palma / Cumbre Vieja eruption is now in its 49th day. Today’s main news is that the eruption intensity has now decreased, leading to smaller lava fountains. Now, beautiful yellow sulfur crystals are visible on the main volcanic cone. Additionally, earthquake activity has also declined, and no more magnitude 5 earthquakes have occurred.
