“You’d Think She Was On Trial For War Crimes!” Protesters Storm Kathleen Stock Talk At Oxford Union

Protesters stormed a talk with feminist Kathleen Stock at the Oxford Union before one of them glued themselves to the floor on Tuesday. Hundreds of chanting protesters marched towards the 200-year old debating society where they blared music including Nancy Sinatra’s These Boots Are Made For Walking as Professor Stock arrived. Prof Stock spoke for around 10 minutes before three protesters emerged from the audience of the packed hall, shouting: “No more dead trans kids”. TalkTV’s Julia Hartley-Brewer is joined by social commentator James Esses to discuss the story. James says: “If you didn’t know the context and saw the level of vitriol, you might think she was on trial for war crimes. It was depressing.“ #kathleenstock #talktv #talkradio
