El tema narra el encuentro el 20 de diciembre de 1943 entre el piloto alemán Franz Stigler con un bombardero norteamericano B-17 Flying Fortress que escapaba averiado y con su tripulación herida luego de una misión sobre la ciudad de Bremen.
