Deutsches Soldatenlied “Ohne Hemd und ohne Höschen“

Ohne Hemd und ohne Höschen. Deutsches Seemann-Lied. This song is about german sailors who drove on the Pacific to Hawai, to Samoa and in the so-called Bismarck’s archipelago to New Guinea for the first time in the 1880s. In amazement they found out that the often quite naked female natives, did not try to get friendly with them. Motto: “I am married. And what you are able to do sailor, my husband is able to do too.“
