Attempting Top Speed In My Mustang GT On Dry Lake With Lanuch Control

Legal no speed limit dry lake top speed attempt in my Mustang GT 6 speed manual. Started each run with launch control at 3400 rpm. The car reached it’s electronic limited 155mph (250 kph) in 4th gear. I tried to shift to 5th gear but it stayed at 155mph. 2 of the runs out of 4 were going against strong wind, the car wouldn’t reach the top speed.
