My Favorite African Cichlid- Star Sapphire

“Star Sapphire“ Placidochromis sp. (Phenochilus Tanzania). After 3 years of waiting, I have a colony of 6 Star Sapphires in my 500 Gallon African Cichlid tank. Bought them at 3/4 inches and have had the joy of watching them color up, grow, and become “good citizens“ in the three different aquariums that they have graced.
