Robocop 2 - Cain the monster custom made model - “Robocain“ - walkround + head opening

The head opening is at 4:25 Cain is made from mostly aluminium, some parts are delrin and the main painted chest cover is fibreglass. I built this 8 years ago using photos of the original stop motion pupet as my reference. It took me around 600 hours over 14 months to complete. I have a small manual milling machine and lathe, I made everything by hand, no cnc equipment was used. I took a photo every hour to show all the stages off work, they can all be seen on my website here: I made the head mechanism myself, the screen is an oled prototype screen that has an onboard micro sd card reader. I made the video file by cropping the parts of Cains face from the movie then converting it to play on the screen. Inside Cains body there is a motor and worm drive thats fed through a tube into cains head that pulls and pushes the screen mechanism.
