Big bill for UK taxpayer as Chinese paid to depart

The French and Chinese have long worked together successfully as leaders in the nuclear power industry, and have been working on an important project in the UK. Unfortunately, political factors from the US have led to Britain’s present administration deciding to “pay off“ the Chinese a huge sum of money -- estimated at 100 million pounds -- to pack up and leave.
