Sonatine by Alfred Cottin (1863 – 1923)

Alfred Cottin was guitarist from Paris who was active in the musical life of the city. He widely known more from the fact that the famous piece, Recuerdos de la Alhambra by Tárrega, was dedicated to him. Sonatine is found in the Free Society for the promotion of good Guitar-music, Issue 8, April 1905 (Augsburg, Germany). Most pieces by Cottin are for guitar, but he also composed for mandolin and guitar, guitar trio, mandoline and piano and two mandolins and piano. Night-time guitar music to unwind with.
