These are some of my favorite songs for years and I was really happy with how everything turned out. For “Tears of Life“, my little brother and me would always replay this exact part and mimic Ash getting turned to stone... now that I think about it, kinda weird... XD I found Radiarc a couple years ago and he makes outstanding music, which is why I can’t resist putting two of his songs in here. Lastly, I grew up watching Courage. So many great and creepy things happened in that show. That must’ve shaped the kinda stuff I like these days! Freaky Fred, Katz, “return the slab“ guy and my all time favorite episode: The Tower of Dr. Zalost. I could not get enough of the Dr. Zalost theme. “Rat? Rat... Come here Rat.. Give me a hug.. It always calms me down“ X3 You’ll notice, this is my first time actually commissioning some talented voice actresses for my animations. This was basically a test to see if I wanted to actually have talking ponies and I gotta say; Wubcake and Izzy did a fantastic job. Their voices give so much more... emotion and depth. I was always hesitant in seeking out voice work, cause I didn’t want to overshadow the music, which is always my main inspiration, but I’m happy I finally tried it. Having the freedom to make these ponies say whatever I want? Yes, please! Expect to see more from both of these wonderful VA’s in future animations. With this installment, I wanted to show that Trixie isn’t fully “evil“.. yet. The amulet has a hold of her and while she still wears it, she is basically under it’s control. Now that she has actually killed another pony, one of the greatest evil acts, the amulet takes her hidden alicorn power and corrupts it, making Trixie enslaved to the wicked side of herself. Becoming an alicorn also makes her even more powerful, but we’ll see that when we get there. Whatever good was in Trixie, is gone now. Youtube decided to pimp out my “Mane six vs. Mean Six“ video again, which got me past the 47K mark I’ve been stuck on, all the way to 55,000 subs! Thank you all for subbing, the new and the old. I remember when 51 subs seemed like a lot... Crazy man. Never thought I’d even get past 100 and that’s being completely honest XD This.. took too long to get out.
