New Agenda for Latin America and the Caribbean in the aftermath of the EU-CELAC Summit

I had the privilege of hearing Lucho Arce & Gustavo Petro speak at the Cumbre de los Pueblos 23, on the side of the CELAC Summit in July. For all Europe’s lecturing about human rights, if the EU wants a partnership with CELAC, we’ll have to face up to the cost in human lives of bad climate policy and brutal sanctions.
