Russian MoD delegation arrives in Libya for first official visit

A delegation from Russia’s defense ministry has arrived in Libya, their first official visit to the country at the invitation of Marshal Khalifa Haftar, Commander of the Libyan National Army. The visit takes place alongside this year’s BRICS summit in South Africa, attended by FM Sergei Lavrov where expansion of the group is set to be discussed, with several dozen countries eager to join.
