Idris Elba Faces Terror in the Sky in Apple TV Plus’ Hijack

Idris Elba stars and executive produces a new action thriller series Hijack, which will premiere on Apple TV Plus on June 28. The series follows the tense and gripping events of a plane hijacking that unfolds in real-time over eight episodes. Elba plays Ben Carter, a former soldier who is on his way to London for a job interview. He boards a flight with his estranged daughter Zoe (played by Sophie Okonedo), hoping to reconnect with her. However, their plans are disrupted when a group of armed terrorists take over the plane and demand a ransom of $500 million. Carter must use his skills and courage to protect his daughter and the other passengers, while also trying to figure out who is behind the hijacking and why.
