James Harden scores 29 points with eight assists vs Bucks

Go to Ball Hog Gloves James Harden recorded a stat line of 29 points (9-of-16 FGs, 6-of-9 FTs), four rebounds, eight assists, one block, and five 3-pointers in 37 minutes in Monday’s loss to the Bucks. After missing all ten shot attempts in Sunday’s win over the Timberwolves, Harden rebounded in Milwaukee. The 29 points were the most he’s scored in a game since February 5, when The Beard dropped 30 on the Hawks in Atlanta. Russell Westbrook being sidelined with a broken hand hasn’t changed anything regarding Harden’s role, but it has led to Bones Hyland entering the rotation as the backup point guard. Hyland only played 11 minutes on Monday, finishing with five points, one rebound, one assist, and one 3-pointer. Given the minutes split, there’s no need even to consider streaming Hyland.
