The Government is gearing up for a fight over its plan to send migrants to Rwanda. After the Court of Appeal ruled last month the plan could not proceed due to “deficiencies“ in the Rwanda asylum system, it has now given the Government permission to appeal its decision. Home Secretary Suella Braverman welcomed the move and insisted the proposals are lawful while claiming the system was “rigged against the British people”.
