It continues to burn close to homes in numerous places with another heat wave starting tomorrow. Homes near Taylorsville have fire directly behind them. At least 40 structures are less than a quarter of a mile from the fire. Massive amounts of smoke make visibility very low. Deer are now everywhere in the valley trying to avoid the wildfire. Interview with lady staying in a mandatory evacuation who says, “I thinki I might die today but my mom’s house is worth it“ when asked what it is like seeing the fire surrounding the home. The relentless fire has put the people of Taylorsville under stress for weeks now.
