“Jam jest dudka“ is a Christmas carol, thought to have been composed in the XVII century. It was published in manuscripts at the Abbey of Benedictine Nuns in Staniątki in 1707. The lyrics include Polish and Slavic medieval and folk instruments, such as dudy (relative of the bagpipes), multanki (some kind of Pan flute) and bandura. There are more instrument names in the complete version of the lyrics, the song is like a guide to ancient polish instruments.
