When searching for the material for the Paul Simon project; Kim Nazarian thought this tune might make a nice female lead, and sit nicely in the samba groove. Darmon Meader did the bulk of the arranging; but her ideas popped in with the Harry Belafonte influenced Call and Response section with the lead vocal and drums, and the humorous amount of modulations! Our first attempt at doing this arrangement purely A Cappella started with a collaboration with the amazing The Swingles; then turned into this smaller version as we were invited to participate in some International A Cappella Festivals.
