Nikita Boriso-Glebsky and Ekaterina Derzhavina on Medtner’s music

In April a German label Profil released a CD with music by Nikolai Medtner, recorded by Nikita Boriso-Glebsky and Ekaterina Derzhavina in 2017 in Cologne. The complete works of the composer for violin and piano include three sonatas, three nocturnes and two canzones with dances. This album is the result not only of a thoughtful interpretation of the works of Medtner but also of serious research work.
