GAME RECAP: Penguins vs. Golden Knights () | Kapanen scores game winning goal

Tonight, the Penguins and the Golden Knights faced off in their first match up of the season. In the 1st period of the game, Jack Eichel and Reilly Smith scored for the Golden Knights, ending the first 20 minutes with a 2-0 lead. The Penguins came back fighting in the 2nd period, outshooting the Golden Knights 15-7. First to get on the board for Pittsburgh was Brock McGinn. Later in the period, Rickard Rakell tied up the score for the Penguins. Vegas took a 3-2 lead at the start of the 3rd period with a goal from Shea Theodore. Their leas was short lived, when Jake Guentzel found the back of the net and tied the score. Kasperi Kapanen then scores the game winning goal for the Penguins.
