Making a Solid Bello Opal Ring with an Obsidian Finish

Get your own Obsidian Opal Ring: In this video, Patrick Adair Designs a solid ring made from Bello Opal. This ring has amazing colors in the light and is faceted in our signature Obsidian Finish making it truly one of a kind. Each ring starts as a solid slab of opal. The opal is then cut with our Patrick Adair Supplies Diamond Holesaw. At this point, the ring is made to size on a lathe using a Dremel. You can’t cut the opal because it would just shatter, so you have to use abrasives. The ring then is sanded with a belt sander to get the obsidian facets before being polished and finished.
