Stronghold: Crusader - Huge Community Patch! (Customizable AI, New Balancing & Bug Fixes)

It’s quite hard to believe it, but Stronghold: Crusader turns 20 next year! Thanks to the game’s wonderful, active community Crusader retains a healthy number of players, alongside its old school charm. Today we’d like to draw attention to an impressive community-driven patch for the game, which some of you may already know as the ’UCP’. In an effort to tweak balancing and bring certain areas of gameplay more in line with later real-time strategy releases, a group of gifted developers from the Stronghold community have designed, built and released an extensive player-made update for the game. This optional patch allows you to change up your medieval crusading experience, enjoying new balancing and quality of life features created for you by the community. The Unofficial Crusader Patch (UCP) offers a range of updates, from small tweaks to all new features. Applied using a simple installer, its headline feature allows players to besiege fresh AI castles from beloved characters while enjoying community-led bal
