Ukraine crisis: BallIstic missiles hit Kyiv at daytime; Russia says all targets have been destroyed

Russian ballistic missiles fell in Kyiv during daylight hours on Monday, the first time it hit the Ukrainian capital during daytime. Debris from missiles intercepted by Ukrainian air defences fell in Kyiv’s central and northern districts, blocking traffic and causing explosions. All the 11 Russian missiles were shot down, local authorities said, adding there was no major damage. While the police busy collecting missile fragments for investigation, Kyiv residents say they were tired of the attacks. “I hide in the corridor so that it’s not so scary“, said Roman Kozak, a Kyiv young man.
