“Little Yvonne is about the world’s youngest wave seeker - she’s only 18 months’ old.“ C/U of a young girl having her hair combed. M/S of the hairdresser sectioning Yvonne’s hair. The perm is taking place in the open air and there is a large contraption hanging behind them - the hairdresser has a female assistant. C/U of Yvonne with curlers in her hair. She doesn’t look too happy. M/S of Yvonne having what I presume is heating elements attached to the curlers - it looks very odd. She chews a sweet. “Yvonne will have a lot more boy friends after this - !“ reads an intertitle. C/U of Yvonne with curls. The hairdresser holds a mirror up for her so that she can see her new look. The assistant sprays her hair with hairspray. She doesn’t smile. End shot shows mother holding daughter in her arms - Yvonne blows a kiss at the camera.
