USING TOYS to teach kids snowboarding tricks #snowboarding

Our friend Duncan in Mammoth was so fun to ride with while we were there! He’s a top level instructor and it’s clear to see why when he know how to adjust his teachings for his audience. He brought these little Army Snowboard figures to help explain to Cashy how to do tricks. The visual representation along with the fun of the toy seems to click pretty easy for Cashy. That and maybe a ball of snow in her mouth helped her stomp this trick first try! Cashy’s progression while in @mammothmountain was testament as to why we went there for the month of May to ride. Their Mammoth Unbound parks are so friendly for young riders to get started in the park and progress their skills as well as older advanced riders to push their limits as far as they want. Thanks Mammoth for such an amazing time! We have more to share from the month so hope you’re not over snowboard content from us just yet 🤙🏼
