Gigabyte Aorus X470 Gaming 7 Wifi - PWM fans over BeQuiet hub not working properly
I have a brand new Aorus X470 Gaming 7 WIFI built into a Be Quiet Dark Base Pro 900 rev. 2. My problem is that in the Smart Fan BIOS the PWM fan header for my case fails autodetection by the board and causes fan control to run on full Speed (DC). However if I manually change the detection from Auto to PWM the fans run fine. After rebooting however they spin up to full speed again. I suspect the board ignores the detection setting on boot and it fails again setting control to DC.
In the past this issue seems to have been encountered and solved by a bios update.
