He Jia Quan “He Family Boxing“ This system originates from, and is still practiced within, the Fuxing neighborhood in what is today the Beibei district of Chongqing city (formerly Jiangbei county of Sichuan province). The oral traditions of the style trace it’s history back to the Qianlong period to Zhi Shan Zhanglao*, who in this case is presented as a monk from Emei Shan.
