The Georg Elser bomb plot | Hitler escapes assassination by 13 minutes

Georg Elser and his bomb plot, ultimately failed to assasinate Adolf Hitler but it was close. Here we see the location of where his bomb exploded at on 8th November 1939. Elser was a carpenter from the Stuttgart region and thoroughly planned his mission, he has gone down in folklore as one of the few brave Germans who resisted the Nazis. As a consequence, he has a memorial in the city, on the street where he lived while setting up his bomb.
