Lets Fix This Sticky, Squeaky Guitar Neck! 🎸

Lets Fix This Sticky Squeaky Guitar Neck! 🎸 My guitar has a Matte Black Finish so I need to use very High Grit Sand Paper for it to look uniform and not “Scratchy”. Once you use something abrasive it will immediately cut into the satin clear coat and leave white marks and powder. So in this case, you have to cover the entire neck and attempt to make the finish as uniform as possible or it will just look super bad.. I actually feel like starting with 1000 grit was still too much… I ended up getting all the way up to 7000 grit before the finish started to look uniform and match the Original Matte Black Finish. If you have a light wood (maple, fender) neck with a glossy finish you could gently use a Scotch-Brite Pad.. just keep in mind that these pads similar to like 400-600 grit sandpaper. So they are much courser and can do much more damage faster. Please Be Careful!! Go Slow!! Do Not Use A Lot Of Pressure!! Subscribe for More!
