Peter Gabriel - Playing For Time (AI music video)

My entry for Peter Gabriel’s contest in collaboration with StabilityAI. I chose this song for the challenge it would bring me, as my animation style is usually quite far away. What I never saw coming is the emotional weight this project would have, so it was really a surprise when I teared up at 2:00 AM to my own renders and Peter’s powerful voice and lyrics. It was really difficult to assemble because I rendered around an hour or two of animation total, and many awesome shots had to be thrown away in the interest of improving the overall flow. There are still a few places where I probably should have kept the inferior render in exchange for fewer cuts. Technical details: - Rendered at 24 fps native - Base SD 1.5 model - No LoRA
