Making a Knife from an Old Bearing | DIY | | Forging a Sharp Kitchen Knife

Hello friends! I made a knife out of an old bearing I found in scrap metal. In the beginning, I forged a fragment of the bearing into a strip. Then, on his flat-grinding machine, he made a blank with a thickness of 3.5 mm. I did the descent on a knife on an emery wheel with a diameter of 200 mm using a homemade device. For the first time I used this method, it turned out well. I used oak, maple and ironwood to make the handle. The handle was polished and covered with oil. It turned out to be a beautiful and convenient knife. Thanks for watching!
