Why was the CRKT PSYCH discontinued right after release?

We hardly knew ye! This was such a cool design! The CRKT 7421, a Ken Steigerwalt design, this dagger looks like a folding version of an old-school fighting knife. Maybe that was the issue? But as this knife was released in 2020, and all the usual youtubers threw up videos, and it was sale on knife retailer sites... We’ve gone through this cycle many times before. But then, it just, disappeared, leaving only the earliest adopters in possession of a pretty neat knife.
