[ F R I N G E ] INFINITE POSSIBILITES

I was recently commissioned to make a fifty minute, improvised audio/visual piece for Studio Renn’s fine jewelry show - [The Fringe] Infinite Possibilities. They reached out to me to create an audio/visual installation for their exhibit, where people could walk through the created environment and at the end reveal the process video of my hands physically crafting the musical experience. The physicality of my art and their exhibit was a perfect pairing of wonder, awe, and tangible discovery. With this central theme I decided on an arrangement that would give me the most versatility and range of motion, performance wise. I didn’t know exactly where I would end up by the end of the live improvised performance, but I knew it was going to be something familiar, strange, and unique - which is was the ultimate goal of our partnership. It was an interesting challenge to create uninterrupted video for that long and I give special thanks to Studio Renn for reaching out and commissioning me to create this piece.
