UN rights agency sounds alarm over increased abductions in South Sudan

The United Nations Commission for Human Rights in South Sudan expressed concern over increased abductions and human trafficking cases in the country. The commission urged the government of South Sudan to carry out judicial and legal reforms needed to ensure the maintenance of law and order, so as to curb the ongoing violence in the country.
