Toronto Walks - Downtown on Queen St E to Leslieville & Greenwood [4K]

This 4K Toronto walk starts downtown at Queen Station and heads east passing over the Don River through the Riverside District and Leslieville neighbourhoods. I then turn north up Greenwood Avenue to the Danforth and enter Greenwood Station. Just past Sherbourne Street on Queen I pass by the store the CBC show Kim’s Convenience is based on. Like a lot of streets on the East end of town you’ll notice Greenwood Avenue seems to be stuck in a bit of a time warp, despite Toronto’s explosive growth it looks very much like it did decades ago. I recorded this walk on Sunday, January 12th at around 2 pm and it was a deceptively cold -5 degrees Celsius. The distance walked was 7 km. I try to be as quiet as possible when recording these but unfortunately my shoes were a bit noisy with all the salt on the ground so I do apologize for that. 0:01 - Exiting Queen Station 1:27 - East on Queen Street (@ Yonge St) 4:20 - Church Street (& Queen) 6:24 - Jarvis Street (& Queen) 10:25 - Kim’s Convience 11:26 - Sherbourne Str
