This scene is captivating and mesmerizing. The sun sets below the horizon, the light fades, the surrounding landscape takes on a cold blue hue. The bustle of the day goes to rest until tomorrow morning. The eyes get used to the darkness, and in the meantime the first stars appear in the sky. I lay on the ground under the measured click of the camera shutter, observing the constellations and meeting the Milky Way.
