Berta, the Mosaic Mannequin

Around the middle of 2011, Leonie Reisberg ’rescued’ a mannequin from death by dumpster. Although her arms and legs have yet to be mosaiced, ’Berta’ as she has come to be known in the Ceramic Haven studio where Leonie is transforming her- is a work in progress. Here is the finishing of the head and torso, with a bit of insider information regarding manipulating grout colour in mosaic!
