When we download the Interface there appears such an icon and we immediately get to the library As you can see when you just start Lightroom this place over here on the left will be empty Here I keep the files that I worked with And you could just see that they were grey at first and then turned white It’s because Lightroom was checking whether the files were still present on the Hard drive and if everything is ok with them So our first directory is “Library” Here it is. In fact Lightroom has much more directories but I don’t use them and I just take them away for the convenience so that they don’t interfere with my work. So the first directory is “Library” We use in to supplement Lightroom’s file library To work with the files later That’s why nothing can happen to your files on the Hard drive So you can turn the photo in rower millions of times and nothing will happen to it don’t be afraid Directory “Develop” is the module where we process photos that we downloaded to Lightroom So we move back to the Library And the first thing we have to do in order to start work with the photos we have to import them Let’s take for example this folder I am going to delete it now As you can see I am deleting it from the catalogue I have to push the button “remove” as it is written here I remove the folder from Lightroom but the files remain intact on the disk So don’t be afraid to push “remove” button I have deleted the files and now there are two variants on file import
