Today we bring you another split, released at the end of last year, and one we are very proud to showcase at any time – a pairing of two of our favourite artists of recent years; the majestic cosmic rawness of Celestial Sword, and the mysterious Faceless Spectre – the new project from Deorc Weg/Despondent Moon, who we teased you with some time back last year, and whose first official release we can now unveil in full. Two sides of swirling arcane atmospheric black metal, opening with the ghostly dungeon ambient of the Spectre, before coalescing and refracting into the star-shattering dissonance of the Sword side; all foreshadowed through their evocative track titles, and characterised in expansive form through the music itself, and illustrated with some incredible artwork from Ainuliblis.
